Description
As a certified nurse-midwife, Stefanie Bates helps patients before, during and after pregnancy and labor. Stefanie completes annual gynecologic exams, prenatal care, postpartum care and menopause counseling. She encourages natural family planning methods to both achieve and avoid pregnancy. She also supports patients desiring natural, unmedicated childbirth. Stefanie takes time to understand her patient's concerns, pregnancy and family planning desires. She works to explain both natural interventions, as well as when medical or surgical interventions could become necessary during a pregnancy or delivery. Outside of work, Stefanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Shayne, and the couple's two sons.
