I chose a career in medicine, in part, because I genuinely enjoy helping people and making a positive impact in their lives. Seeing patients overcome challenges and achieve better health brings me a deep sense of fulfillment, and I am always grateful to be a part of that journey. \n Another reason I went into medicine is that I was deeply impacted by a family member's battle with a terminal illness. I saw through that experience the importance of compassionate care. I'm driven to provide the same level of dedication and support to my own patients that I saw being given to my family member. \n My approach to healthcare centers around treating each patient as a whole person and not just a set of symptoms. I believe compassionate, personalized care can make a significant difference in outcomes, so I strive to listen to my patients' concerns and understand their health goals. I am committed to being a thorough clinician who empowers patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. \n Faith and family are central to my life. My husband and I are proud South Carolina natives who met when we were in high school. We enjoy being with our family, which includes two nieces, one nephew and more on the way! We love to walk our dog, watch football in the fall and spend time outdoors, especially if we're skiing, snowboarding or running. We've also joined the pickleball craze. I'm a coffee lover and enjoy visiting all the wonderful small businesses in and around Winston-Salem.
