Growing up, I had several family members and friends who worked in medicine. I always looked up to them and knew I wanted to go into healthcare myself. Family medicine is the best fit for me, as it allows me to take care of the patient throughout their lifetime and build a personal relationship with them over years of care. I pride myself on listening closely to the individual needs of each patient and on taking the time to review treatment options with them. As a Florida native, I've always spent a lot of time on and around the water, including lakes, beaches and pools. Since moving to North Carolina for physician assistant school, I still enjoy those water activities but have also found a love for pickleball and reading in my free time.
