Founded in September 1945 in Lexington, NC, Turlington and Company, L.L.P. began as a small, independent affiliate of the Frank P. Buck Company. Established by W.H. Turlington, who held North Carolina CPA Certificate #619, the firm quickly grew, focusing on tax preparation and consulting. By 1955, the firm expanded its services to include auditing and accounting, and adopted the name Turlington and Company, L.L.P. Today, the firm continues to build strong, long-lasting client relationships based on a common-sense approach to accounting. The firm is also deeply committed to community involvement and professional organizations.
